microsoft updates
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Each time micro soft updates when I switch off. Screen is completely black  and I have to keep going to, hold esc and F11 and do the option system recovery each time to, reset the last time before update when it worked. This is happening to regular.

I need a solution to the problem, if I cancel updates completely probably not the best thing to do.

Does anyone have a hack or work around this.

Unfortunately, with Win10, MS removed the ability to disable or prevent specific Windows Updates -- and from your description, it sounds like there is an update in progress but when you reboot, it hangs and does not finish.  Thus, you have to force the PC to restart -- and that puts you right back where you were.

Check Update History to see if the same Update is failing over and over again.

There is really no failsafe way to disable Windows Updates in Win10, and since MS recently approved the 1903 Feature Update for release, they have started pushing it out to folks.
