@Azkarion, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding OMEN Light Studio Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you're having trouble configuring the OMEN Light Studio to change the color of your keyboards and not seeing certain options, here are some steps to help you resolve the issue:
Installation Requirement:
- Ensure that you have installed both OMEN Gaming Hub and OMEN Light Studio. OMEN Light Studio needs to be installed separately as it is not included with the OMEN Gaming Hub app.
- In OMEN Gaming Hub, navigate to the Light Studio option and click the download icon to install it.
Open OMEN Light Studio:
- Once installed, you can launch OMEN Light Studio from the OMEN Gaming Hub home page. Make sure the OMEN Gaming Hub background process is running when you do so.
Check for Supported Devices:
- Ensure that your keyboard and other peripherals are supported by OMEN Light Studio. If no supported devices are connected to your computer, an error will be displayed in the Layout and Effects panels.
Device Configuration:
- OMEN Light Studio syncs with your OMEN Gaming Hub profiles, so confirm that your devices have been correctly added to Light Studio.
- When opening the Lighting tab for a device in OMEN Gaming Hub, you are given options either to proceed with basic lighting or open OMEN Light Studio.
Layout Editor:
- Use the Layout Editor to rearrange the positions of your devices. Make sure your devices are shown accurately within the editor as the software may not support some third-party devices.
Effects Editor:
- Open the Effects Editor to configure the lighting effects. Ensure you are selecting the appropriate zones and layers for your devices.
Device Control:
- For some devices controlled by other applications, like HyperX NGENUITY, select the 'Configure with Light Studio' option to resolve control issues.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
