We are pleased to announce the launch of our OMEN MAX 16! We are aware that the Instant Pair feature does not automatically activate on the Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro, Pulsefire Saga Pro, and Cloud III S when connecting to the OMEN MAX 16. A new firmware update will be available shortly to address this issue. In the interim, please follow the provided steps to manually enable Instant Pair.
Mouse instant pair: To instant pair the Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro or Pulsefire Saga Pro with the OMEN MAX 16 out of the box, please follow the following steps:
1. Turn the mouse off using the power switch underneath
2. On the bottom of the mouse, from the "Off" state, power the mouse by switching to "2.4G"
3. Press and hold the Left Mouse Button + Right Mouse Button + DPI button (button at the bottom)
4. You should be able to see the LED blink Orange
5. Move the mouse closer to the OMEN Max 16 (within 7” to the notebook – closer to the top right corner of the screen is preferred)
If your mouse doesn’t detect the system within 6 seconds, it will reconnect to the USB dongle and blink white 4 times instead.
Note: Wireless adapter provided with Pulsefire Saga Pro does not need to be plugged in.
Headset and mouse instant pair:
You may have issues when using Instant Pair with both the Cloud III S and Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro on the OMEN MAX 16.
When the Haste 2 Pro is paired first, the Cloud III S cannot be paired using Instant Pair.
Workaround: Perform a manual (forced) initial pairing on the Cloud III S to enable instant pairing.
Alternatively, if the Cloud III S is paired first, the Haste 2 Pro cannot be paired using Instant Pair.
Workaround: Perform a manual (forced) initial pairing on the Haste 2 Pro to enable instant pairing.
Finally, if Instant Pair for both the headset and mouse is still unsuccessful, a reset on the Cloud III S is necessary. To factory reset a Cloud III S, please follow these steps:
1. Power on the Cloud III S Headset
2. Locate the multi-function button (button above the volume wheel)
3. Press down on both the power button and multi-function button at the same time, holding for about ten seconds or until you see the light above the power button flash rapidly from white to red
4. The headset will give a ‘Power Off’ alert, then a ‘Power On’ shortly after. This indicates a successful factory reset
