Omen gaming hub keeps freezing

Ok - I have a new laptop with the omen gaming hub. When I open it, it freezes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, it works afterwards then freezes again.

Windows update is up to date.

I have steam running as well.

Any ideas?

Have you ever linked your Steam account to the OMEN Gaming Hub? If you have linked it, just unlink it and this may solve your problem. You can find this selection in Settings > Platform link. 

Reinstalltion won't work ass steam account will get linked after sometime, so you need to unlink.

Is that on Steam? As there is no platform link under settings. If its in the gaming hub how can i access it?

Platform linking for Steam is inside Omen Gaming Hub settings, not on Steam itself.  Look for gear icon (top-right) > Platform Linking > Unlink Steam. If unlinking inaccessible, sign out of your HP account in Hub (if prompted on partial load) or clear app data: Settings > Apps > Omen Gaming Hub > Advanced > Reset (this removes links without full uninstall). Reinstall after, skipping any Steam login prompts during setup.

Ok I did that. The app worked fine for a day, then today same thins - opened it and it freezes.

Any other ideas?

As part of the laptop I received three months free access to the pass. but I am not doing that until the app works - otherwise any games I buy I could not access.

I don't know anything else to fix this. I hope someone can help you on this.
