Hi @GO-63_GO,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your monito controls!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check the Monitor Frame:

  • Examine the back, side, or bottom edge of the monitor for any buttons or joysticks that are built into the frame. These might be used to navigate the OSD.

Joystick Navigation:

  • If a joystick is present, gently push or move the joystick in different directions to navigate through the OSD functions. Pressing the joystick usually opens the menu.

Touch Controls:

  • Some monitors have touch-sensitive areas instead of physical buttons. Look for an area with symbols or engravings indicating touch functionality.

Consult the Monitor Manual:

  • If you are unable to locate the buttons or touch controls, refer to the user manual that came with your monitor. It will typically provide specific instructions for navigating the OSD menu for your model.

Use Software Tools:

  • You can also use software tools provided by HP, such as the HP Display Center or OMEN Gaming Hub if they support your monitor model, to calibrate your display settings.

I hope this helps.

I have the same HP Pavilion 27 cr0039na and I’m trying to calibrate the screen too, but I can’t find any physical buttons to access the OSD menu. Does anyone know how to bring it up?

Hi @GO-63_GO,

Thanks for following up! The HP Pavilion 27-cr0039na monitor uses a joystick-style button to access and navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.

Here’s how you can access it:

Steps to Access the OSD Menu:

Locate the Joystick Button:

Look at the back-right side of the monitor (when facing the screen).

You’ll find a small joystick nub, this is the main control for navigating the OSD.

Open the OSD Menu:

Gently press the joystick inward (like a button).

This will bring up the OSD menu on your screen.

Navigate the Menu:

Move the joystick up, down, left, or right to browse the menu options.

Press it inward again to select an item.

Find Calibration Settings:

Look for options like Brightness, Contrast, Color, or Picture modes.

Use these settings to calibrate your display as desired.

Optional: Use HP Software (if supported)

You can also try:

HP Display Center – For adjusting settings via your PC.

Windows Display Calibration – Go to Settings > Display > Advanced Display Settings > Color Calibration.

I hope this helps.
