Hi. When I used the optimise, it deleted all the files in Documents, Downloads and Pictures. Fortunately I found the filw in Userd/TEMP IneDrive. This is not what I wanted. It also deleted the picture on Desktop and changed various settings. How do I get the files back into the normal This PC location.

Don't know what you mean by using the "optimise" -- you need to explain what this is and where you find it.

Further to my post. I clicked on the HP icon on the system tray. I ran Performance Optimise. It was worrying when my data files disappeared. All the icons on the system tray disappeared, so could not click on the HP one. Yesterday, Norton needed me to restartm and everything then went back to how it should be.  You can close the post
