Hi:

sp74499 is definitely the driver you need for that device.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for that ID:

[Intel.NTamd64]
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E3D&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1CBD&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3D&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1DBD&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1D3D&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C3D&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C3D&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CBD&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8D3D&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D3D&CC_0700"
%SRL_DeviceDesc% = ComPort, "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A13D&CC_0700"

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try a more in depth manual installation of the driver.

Click on the PCI serial port in the device manager.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and then at the bottom of that section, select the 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.'

Click on 'Have Disk' and browse to C:\SWSetup\sp74499\mesrl (setup information file), click Next and hopefully the driver will install that way.

Hi:

The Intel Management Engine Interface driver I posted should have installed the PCI serial port.

Try manually installing the device from the device manager.

Go to the device manager, click on the PCI Serial Port needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the driver.

That folder should be located in C:\SWSetup\sp74499.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

If not, I will need the hardware ID for the device.

To find the hardware ID, please see this guide:

For the QPI error, see if the info in this discussion is of any help.

QPI fatal error messages 929 932 during POST on Z620 - HP Support Community - 6022664

Chapter 4, page 96 of the service manual does not list that error number to provide any troubleshooting steps.
