Request a license for Windows Media Center (WMC) as a downloadable App for Windows 10
??? I would greatly appreciate if it could be passed along to Upper Level HP Management (and Microsoft Corporation Management, also) that other loyal customers, and myself, request to be able to purchase a license for Windows Media Center (WMC) as a downloadable app for Windows 10 (one time license purchase for 1 PC) ???
Microsoft could even make it expensive so all of Microsoft's licensing fees are covered while still making a profit... Or, if HP could enter a business arrangement with Microsoft where customers could purchase (from HP) a license for Windows Media Center as a downloadable app for Windows 10 (one time license purchase for 1 PC), for HP computers only, that would be great, too!
Microsoft has forced me to keep running Windows 7 on my HP 850-065se computer because I use Windows Media Center (WMC) as a Television on my computer (Microsoft dropped Windows Media Center from Windows 10, and presently doesn't sell Windows Media Center separately for Windows 10). If Microsoft (and/or HP) could PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE decide to offer customers the opportunity to buy Windows Media Center as a downloadable app for Windows 10 (one time license purchase for 1 PC), I'd immediately update my computer from Windows 7 to 10, or possibly buy a new Windows 10 computer from HP.

This would be great to have for Windows 10; Windows Media Center is an awesome app - You (and HP) are the best!!!
Thanks

You are correct that Microsoft dropped Windows Media Center (WMC) after Windows 7 and it is not longer available. Depending on the hardware used for the tuner - A third party software can simulate what WMC did.
I cannot find a listing that indicates the hardware used for the TV tuner card, but here is the spec page:
If you look in Device Manager, it might show the hardware. If not open the case and find the brand and model number of the TV card and then I can give a software that will support it.
I'm not an HP employee.

As @TheOldMan pointed out, WMC is gone. It demise was WIN 8.
There are/were many omissions from WIN 10, see here. In that article you will find 3 options for WMC. I looked at the link for MediaPortal, and it seems like what you want. Please try it, and report back. I also kept a WIN 7 WMC unit. but COX Cable pulled the media TV guide support.
