Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.
Kindly follow the below steps :
- Background Apps: In Settings → Apps → Installed apps, look for Shift Browser. If you don’t use it, you can uninstall it.
- Default Apps: Check Settings → Apps → Default apps to make sure Shift isn’t set as your default browser unless you want it to be.
- Windows Notifications: Go to Settings → Notifications and see if Shift is sending sidebar notifications that look like pop‑ups.
- Malware Scan: Run Windows Security or HP Support Assistant to ensure the pop‑ups aren’t caused by unwanted software.
