HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On startup the PC runs HP Smart.

This eats disk i-o and serves no obvious purpose.

Searching for how to remove it merely gives trite answers about uninstalling it.

**it is not in the list of programs**.

It is not in startup options.

How do I get rid of HP smart ?
