I bought hp pavilion 8th gen corei7, in the beginning there was touchscreen available but after 1 month suddenly it stopped working, I tried many methods, but it says that touchscreen is permanently deleted from this pc after I uninstalled it. Kindly help me out to get my touchscreen back.in settings when I view pen and touch info it says no touchscreen available. Also, there is no HID touchscreen driver .

There have been a number of BIOS upgrades for your system. Are you running F.26 dated Aug 15, 2022?
I did not see a bios release for "windows 11 support" . or one that mentions "fixes touch display"
Did the problem occur after you upgraded to windows 11 or with some other Microsoft update?
The latest version of the HP support assistant is 9.20.22.0 the last time I checked
Are there any alert icons shown in the device manager?
Look under "Human Interface Devices" for your touch screen driver
Right click to select properties and look for errors. Select driver and see if you can roll the drive back
I cannot roll it back as it is grayed out but my driver is working ok
Your product ID ends in CL which indicates it was abought at a club store. Costco gives 2 year warranty. It might still be in warranty

If your touchscreen isn't responsive or not working how you would expect, try restarting your PC. If you're still having problems, check for updates: Select Start , then select Settings . In Settings, select Update & security , then WindowsUpdate , and then select the Check for updates button.
