Its possible to update to the latest BIOS version of my motherboard (5.43) using Windows 10? Since i saw is a prerrequisite have win7 to install, but is also a requisite have win7 to keep working? I want to have win10 because the features and compatibility of the new era. And my actual BIOS version doesnt support the new RAM (8GB) i bought so i will kept stuck with 1.5GB.

-Specifications-

Motherboard: IPIBL-LB (BENICIA) BIOS version 5.23 (doesnt support more than 4GB of RAM, it doesnt even initializes with more than that)

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 

1.5GB of RAM DDR2 800MHz (1GB+512MB)

(I want to install 4x2GB of DDR2 800MHz)

SO: Win10 64-Bits (actual SO)

All I can tell you is if you would have to be 100% willing accept the consequences of wrecking your PC by trying to update the BIOS using W10.

 

On some PCs it will work fine and on others it will not.

 

The related posts I can find regarding the motherboard your PC has never indicated they actually ran the BIOS updates on W10:

 

One of the posts indicated that W10 will block the update from running and one of the posts suggests it shouldn't be a problem to update the BIOS in W10.
