Hi

Thanks for your response.

The HPSU-0004 code typically indicates that HP Support Assistant has detected a missing or pending software update. To solve this, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Update HP Support Assistant (HPSA)

Open HP Support Assistant.

Go to My devices > Updates > Check for updates and messages.

Install any pending updates for HPSA itself or system drivers.

2. Run Windows Update

Press Windows Key + I > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Check for updates and install any that are available.

3. Repair HP Support Assistant

Press Windows Key + R, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter.

Locate HP Support Assistant, select it, and click Repair or Change > Repair if available.

4. Clear HPSA Cache

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\HP Support Framework\ and delete the HPSF folder (after closing HPSA).

Restart your computer and open HP Support Assistant again.

5. Reinstall HP Support Assistant (if needed)

If the pop-up persists, uninstall HPSA via Apps & Features, then download the latest version from HP Support Assistant Download.

Following these steps usually resolves recurring HPSU-0004 messages
