Printer: HP LaserJet Pro P1102w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I keep getting the attached when I attempt to install the recommended software for my printer.

All I am attempting to do is download a HP printer software program.  HELP!

Hello,

This issue does not come from you, but from Windows.

Please temporarily disable the User Account Control (UAC) and then re-run the program as follows:

  1. On the keyboard, press the Windows and R keys simultaneously. The Run window will open.
  2. Type control nusrmgr.cpl, then press the Enter key. The User Accounts window will open.
  3. Click Change User Account Control settings. The User Account Control Settings window will open.
  4. Move the cursor down to the bottom and click OK and then Yes.
  5. Restart the computer.
  6. Run the printer firmware update software again.
  7. Then reactivate the user account control.
  8. Restart the computer.
