Video Configuration option not showing in bios

I cannot see any option to increase or decrease the value for shared video memory in BIOS. I have consulted the manual for BIOS but the options mentioned in the manual are either inactive or not there at all. What could be the issue and what to do to solve it? Would changing video port from VGA to DVI-D solve the issue?

With on-board video chip, the video uses system memory so there is an option in the BIOS to set the amount used.

With a video card, like your model, the video system uses memory chips soldered to that card -- so there is no use of system memory and no option to change the amount of memory used.

Ah, sorry if this is unrelated, but my BIOS actually allocated half of my RAM (which is only 8GB) to my graphics card (as seen in a screenshot from task manager). My GPU is an 8GB RX580 so having 12GB of ram at the GPU's disposal but only 4GB left for everything else is causing some problems for me. I was also aware of that option in the BIOS from reading the manual but it isn't there, regardless of whether the integrated graphics is turned on or off. I also tried updating the BIOS (although it was already on the latest version) and the option still was not there.

Is there a solution to this?
