I want to install an M.2 ssd for the

wondering what type of M.2 screw i should use.

Hi:
There isn't a M.2 SSD screw size listed for your PC.
There is a M,2 Wi-Fi screw part number.

Generally, the standard M.2 SSD hold down screw size is 2.0 mm wide x 3.0 mm long.

That is a good question.
What you could do if you want, would be to remove the screw holding down the Wi-Fi card and see if it also fits in the standoff for the M.2 SSD.
Then you will know for sure one way or the other.
That screw is going to be very small so be careful if you decide to do that.
Make sure you have powered down and unplugged the PC before working inside of it.

Unfortunately, that I would not know.
The screw is not orderable from HP.
