Product: HP All-in-One PC 24-dp0000wa (7TT88AV)

i want to use my all in one desktop as a 2nd monitor with my work laptop - but the HDMI cord I used did not do anything when i plugged it into the 1 port in the back ... how can this be fixed?

You can use Wi-Fi to project the 2nd screen onto the the AIO.   No need for a cable.

The below link gives instructions on adding a laptop to desktop or vice-versa using Wi-Fi

The instructions are for using the laptop as second monitor, but just reverse the instructions.
