Hi @nav150205,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand that you're experiencing an issue with the Bluetooth functionality on your HP Victus laptop, where the Bluetooth drive intermittently disappears. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

1. Check Bluetooth Status in Device Manager

  1. Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.

  2. Look for the Bluetooth section. If you don't see it, click on View and select Show hidden devices.

  3. If Bluetooth appears, check for any yellow warning signs or red crosses indicating driver issues.

2. Update Bluetooth Drivers

  1. In Device Manager, right-click on the Bluetooth driver and select Update driver.

  2. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software and follow the prompts.

3. Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers

  1. In Device Manager, right-click on the Bluetooth driver and select Uninstall device. Ensure you also check the option to delete the driver software for this device.

  2. Restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the default drivers.

4. Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

  1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

  2. Click on Additional troubleshooters.

  3. Select Bluetooth and then click on Run the troubleshooter.

5. Check for Windows Updates

  • Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on Check for updates.

6. BIOS Update

  • Sometimes, updating the BIOS can resolve hardware issues. Visit the Official HP® Support for your HP Victus model to see if a BIOS update is available.

7. Check Bluetooth Services

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

  2. Scroll down to find Bluetooth Support Service.

  3. Ensure it is set to Automatic and is running. If not, right-click and select Start or Restart.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
