Everytime I try to download anything I get a few different dll not found error messages. This computer is very old we got it back in 2016 or sometime around then and have been getting that error even before I factory reset it. I've tried redownloading them and nothings worked.

Hello @JJGlass92

(1) Please install these 2 runtime dll setup files from Microsoft:

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

----------------------------------------

aka.ms links are secure, they are from

Microsoft Cloud URLs - MSXFAQ

https://www.msxfaq.de/cloud/admin/microsoft_cloud_urls.htm

----------------------------------------

(2) Reboot your computer

(3) Test your OriginThinSetup Installation again ...

best regards

Hello @JJGlass92

I want to help you.

(1) Please check your filesystem

https://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-10/check-disk-and-system-files-in-windows-8-10/

( You will have to reboot so that that filecheck can start at boot time )

(2) After filesystem check is done

Open cmd.exe as administrator and execute:

sfc  /scannow

( After that reboot computer )

Open cmd.exe as administrator and execute:

msdt.exe /id WindowsUpdateDiagnostic

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

( After that reboot computer )

(3) Test your download again ...

best regards

Ok tysm for trying to help because literally nothings working. I was trying to download Origin again but it happened before I factory reset the pc when I would try to open any apps or files, I remember specifically I couldn't press f11 or it'd open again. Screenshot (2).pngScreenshot (3).png
