In my final assessment, the i7-7700 will be a good match for your desktop. As mentioned, the i7-7700K runs hotter and it may require you to upgrade cooling fans etc. which you can avoid altogether with the i7-7700.

Either the GTX 1660 Ti or the GTX 1660 Super are excellent cards. Performance-wise, they are very close: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1660S-Super-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1660-Ti/4056vs4037.
You will be pleased with either one.

ok, @xavier112 I look forward to your return
we have as I mentioned a similar problem, with the same game, and a good configuration
That's why I said, you may not need to replace the processor..

There seems to be a specific problem with this game.
But curious to see if indeed this will considerably improve this problem

The i7-7700 is specifically mentioned by HP as a processor upgrade for your OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 870-224 here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05389962:
The i7-7700 doesn't require any (BIOS) updates.
The i5-7400 will do, but the i7-7700 is considerably more powerful: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7700-vs-Intel-Core-i5-7400/3887vs3886. However, it is partially a budget decision: the i7-7700 doesn't come cheap: the least expensive one I could find on eBay started at $130.
