laptop includes Microsoft office lifetime

I purchased my laptop yesterday and I was told that my device include Microsoft office for life and I should use the 7 days trial but when I try to accept the offer in word, it says that it will start and end on 08/20/2025 but I bought it 08/16/25 so technically it is not 7 days, right? now my question is how will I fix that? does that mean that my laptop's Microsoft been activated before me? i was actually worried because the man who assist us told me that if the laptop needs replacement or something happen, I will not be able to replace it to them if the 7 days trial of office is used or activated

Just an FYI:  If you have a lifetime product key for Office, it should be recorded either on the Microsoft site on in the paperwork what came with the PC.  Be sure to locate that info before doing anything else.  If you cannot find that info, then it might not have been given to you.  Get that resolved first.  Then I see no need to activate the trial unless that happens to be required to get the lifetime key.  Speak with Microsoft to clear that problem, not HP.
