ok, but did you set the parameters correctly for that?
You can already just check if it works
In the screen saver settings, you choose what you want under screen saver, you click on preview
If it works, you have not configured the standby settings correctly

the preview function works, but after I click "apply" and close the window, the saver never comes on!? thanks for you continuing help!!
