Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

pc starts always as the last user who turned off the system

How do I change this ( in windows 7 there was always the choise during startup which user should be used)

 

Is it possible to have it the same way in Windows 10

Ashmita thanks for your help

i feel this is not goiing to work

In the mean time i found an other solution

I have given every user a password 

and now during startup there is a list of users displayed 

again thanks for your help

Hi @theo33

 

Try these steps -

 

1) In the search box, type and open Run. 
2) In the Run window, type secpol.msc and click on Ok. 

3) Double Click on "Local Policies" > "Security Options" > Look for "Interactive logon: Don't display last signed-in".

 

 

4) If it is enabled, disable it by right clicking on the option. Go to "Properties" and then click on "Ok".

if i click on the search icoon and type the word RUN there is some response but it gets me no where, sorry

Try pressing the Windows and the R button together. It will open the Run window.

yes i did and typed     SECPOL.MSC  and clcked on ok 

received message cant find file secpol.msc

Please check for any spaces while typing SECPOL.MSC

 

There should be no spaces.

checked for spaces, made sure no spaces same result message
