updating my bios

I was wondering why the file isn't in a type of file form that so it makes you not about to extract it which it restricting me from putting it on a flash drive and not letting me update my bios.

If you're downloading the BIOS update from HP, the file is often packaged as a self-extracting executable (.exe). Some BIOS updates are designed to be run directly from Windows, while others provide an option to create a USB recovery drive during the installation process. Make sure you're using the correct BIOS package for your model, and check whether HP's BIOS Update Utility includes a ‘Create Recovery USB’ option.

also on laptop if you battery is faulty it wouldn't update BIOS. I am using HP desktop since 2023 and recently updated BIOS last month on desktop. 

Earlier I was using Dell Laptop from 2019 december and battery swallowed up in 2020 and couldn't update bios since 2020 on this dell laptop with swallowen battery. So I purchased my favorite brand the HP desktop. in 2023
