Hi @gardone8,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how frustrating it feels when your brand-new HP OmniDesk PC is ready to go, but the wireless keyboard and mouse just won’t cooperate. Let’s get them working step by step:

1. Check Power and Pairing

  • Make sure both keyboard and mouse have fresh batteries or are fully charged.
  • Turn them on (look for a small power switch underneath or on the side).

2. Enable Bluetooth on Your PC

  • On your OmniDesk PC, go to: Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Turn Bluetooth ON.
  • If Bluetooth is missing, install the latest drivers via HP Support Assistant.

3. Pair the Devices

  • Press the Connect/Pair button on the keyboard and mouse (usually on the bottom).
  • On your PC, click Add device → Bluetooth → Select your keyboard and mouse.

4. Check Wireless Dongle (If Included)

  • Some HP wireless keyboards/mice use a USB receiver instead of Bluetooth.
  • Plug the receiver into a USB port on the PC.
  • Restart the PC and test the devices.

5. Update Drivers

  • Open HP Support Assistant or go to Official HP® Support.
  • Install any pending Bluetooth or input device updates.

6. Reset Devices (If Needed)

  • For Bluetooth models: remove them from Bluetooth & devices, then re-pair.
  • For dongle models: unplug the receiver, restart, and plug it back in.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
