Hello,
PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!🙏🏾 🥹
Several days ago, my cursor suddenly disappeared from my screenand my touchpad became unresponsive. On my quest for a solution, I followed an advise to uninstall "I2C HID Device". I found 2 "I2C HID Device", one had a ⚠️ and the other didn't. I uninstalled both and that solved the problem for about 2 days. This solution doesn't work anymore and it's been irritating. I even downloaded some "advance driver updater" and update some antiquated drivers but doing this did not help. Luckily, my laptop is touchscreen. I use a HP Pavilion x360 convertible 14t-dy100 which I just learned has been discontinued. What does "HID complaint" mean and why do I have so many? What exactly is "I2C HID Device"? I have attached some images to aid with the diagnosis? Why is getting through to a living breathing human HP agent so challenging?

1. press Windows key and X button at the same time
2. tap 'device manager' from the selection that pops up
3. tap the '>' button next to 'Human Interface Devices'
4. Scroll until you see 'I2C HID Device' (it should have this⚠️ on the bottom corner), tap and hold 'I2C HID Device'.
5. tap the following options: 'update driver' -> 'browse my computer for drivers' -> 'let me pick from a list of available drivers from my computer' -> tap 'I2C HID Device' under models -> tap 'next'.
The following message should pop up: "Windows has successfully updated the drivers.". The cursor should appear on your screen again. If this doesn't work, turn the laptop on and off, and try this method again.
