HP X24i Gaming Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all.. my monitor (hp 24xi 2W922AA) will not turn on. when I plug in the power whether it is connected to my PC or not all that happens is the power indicator light turns on for about 2 seconds and the screen briefly flashes white and it turns of and tries to start again and keeps repeating this. I am unable to start in bios when it does this also and none of the other troubleshooting tips I've found have helped. this is very frustrating as the monitor was working flawlessly yesterday and has been for the year or so I've had it. my monitor is unfortunately out of warranty so my fear is hp wont replace it even though I did nothing to damage it and the issue must be on hp's end.

@Luke_F,

Did you try to connect your HP 24xi monitor to another PC?  What I'm getting at is narrowing it down to conclude that the issue is the monitor itself.  Unfortunately, monitors do break down. Some sooner than others. Doggonit indeed.

Since you said you tried various troubleshooting tips, you may have to brace yourself to consider buying a replacement monitor...

If you want to stay with 24-ish inches Full HD 1920x1080 monitors (and why not: for most gaming purposes this still works/looks great, especially at 144+ MHz refreshing rates), may I suggest one of the following two Acer options I have been very pleased with:

1.) Amazon.com: Acer Nitro VG240Y Pbiip 23.8 Inches Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Gaming Monitor with AMD Ra...

2.) Amazon.com: Acer KG241Q Pbiip 23.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) TN 144Hz 1ms Monitor with AMD FreeSync Tec...
