Product: HP 27es 27-inch Display
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My HP 27ES monitor won't turn on.
The little white power light on the back next to the power socket on the back comes on when it is plugged in. However, the power light on the front no longer turns on. (Not amber. Not white.) It doesn't display anything, either.
I tried holding down the power button briefly and then for a long time. This causes no response. I tried unplugging and plugging the HDMI. No difference. My computer is able to detect the monitor and its resolution.
I think the little white power light on the back is giving me false hope. I think it's dead. It's well out of warrantee. Is there anything I can do before I simply replace it?
