Hello!

When I boot up my computer - both monitors work fine.

When I wait the computer up from Sleep ~ 1/5 times it doesn't recognize the 2nd monitor.

Video Card RTX3060I- ASUS

Any thoughts or suggestions?

TIA

As long as both show up they can be PNP or ASUS

To test for cable problems one would remove both cables completely and then re-attach to different monitors

Alternately get a cable from the TV, XBOX, etc if hdmi for the one that seems to not wake up

When one of the monitors is asleep and the other working, does "Scan for new hardware" wake up the sleeping one?

Try swapping cables.  If problem moves with the cable then get a better quality cable.

Is the 2nd monitor blank or does it show "no signal present"

Bring up the device manager and "scan for hardware changes"

If that wakes up the monitor then I can provide a tool to do that automatically

Can the second monitor be detected by the display app?

If none of the above work then put the 2nd monitor on a switch to make it easy to turn off and back on.

Thanks for the input-

Swap cables at the Video Card end or monitor end?

2nd monitor completely blank - no response - no power up - zero

Should I be concerned that they show up normally as 2 x Generic PnP Monitors? (Device Manager)

They are both - ASUS - VG245H 24” FHD

My #1 monitor is always the one that is detected.

When I got to system > Display > Advanced Display - Display 1&2  show as VG245.
