I have a 2nd monitor attached to my HP all in one computer. When I switched to a new wired mouse a few weeks ago, the computer no longer recognized the 2nd monitor as a separate piece of equipment. But it extends the screen to include the 2nd monitor.
When I go to display settings, it says there is no 2nd monitor. When I change the resolution to recommended for the main monitor, the 2nd goes black but does not say it is not getting input. So currently running with the expanded resolution which extends the screen.
I contacted support for the mouse (Coursair) but they said it was the computer as their mouse would not cause this issue. I still think it installed a driver that did this. Can anyone help me figure this out

Corsair make gaming mice and other devices. I have their liquid coolers. They all use iCue for profiling to tie all gaming devices together. There should be no problem with the monitors from this software to my knowledge. Gaming mice normally work with "recommended" resolution that the game uses. Possibly the game you are running has changed the resolution and the 2nd monitor cannot handle it. It will show a video error and then go to sleep and not always be recognized after exiting the game. If you bring up the device manager and click on "scan for new hardware" will it be recognized again?

Possibly it is a coincidence and a Microsoft "recommended graphics update" was just waiting to get installed and it got the opportunity to do so with the mouse upgrade and made a mess of things. You can try rolling back your driver to the previous version. I recommend going and getting the recommended one from HP or the manufacture (NVidia, AMD?)
Your system is here but there are three possibilities
If you have an add-in board like GTX-1060 or RX-570 go to Nvidia or AMD respectively. If you have only built-in graphics then download and install the driver that matches your hardware. I am guessing you will need to enter the system HP id to be sure to select the proper drivers.
I am sorry, there are a lot of drivers listed on that page and I do not know which is best for your system.
