Example: Pavilion 550-295na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I am looking at upgrading my display screen to 4K and wondered whether this PC will support the full 4K resolution or if not what would be the maximum? I understand it has the Intel HD graphics 530 installed which it was shipped with.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The specs of your machine is

                  https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05321160

It has 2 HDMI ports (3) at its back. But it does not say which version.  Sorry I can't tell, but it is a new generation machine therefore hope those HDMI ports are version 1.4 (which I believe they are) or above otherwise you can't use 4K monitor.

Regards.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I have tried to find the version of the HDMI ports which I have so far been unable to do.

Is there a simple way to identify the version from a management utility?
