Upon opening CS2 (Counter Strike 2) I was prompted to update my drivers. After being sent to the AMD page I auto detected my drivers and updated. This caused me to enter a loop of black screening. After attempting to download the old drivers the issue was not fixed and ultimately I was forced to factory reset. For some time afterwards the issue was present but not overly pressing, yet recently it has worsened and prevents me from using my laptop for extended periods of time. If I can open a game I can safely play it without issue but after closing it typically goes back into a black screen. Even while on Microsoft Edge, my screen will go completely black and waiting it out does not affect anything. After turning off my laptop with the power button and back on the issue is temporarily absent however it typically repeats soon afterwards. This is leaving me in a loop of gambling whether or not I can do ANYTHING before stuck in a cycle of black screening.
