HP ENVY 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000 (388P6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I just bought a new HP all in one and it has a vertical black, wide fuzzy streak running down from the top of the monitor and most of the length of the screen. I've tried updating all the graphics and drivers to see if that would correct it but nothing. If anything it is getting worse. Any ideas? It's under warranty but I hate to return it if there is a solution. Thanks

Hi @dc19621,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand there is a black vertical streak on your brand new HP ENVY 34 Inch All-In-One Desktop PC. Not to worry I shall help you in resolving the issue.

  • I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting, if you don't see the Black line on the BIOS screen then you may go ahead and exit out of BIOS screen and update the BIOS for your PC by clicking on this link.

  • In case you a see a Black Vertical Line on the BIOS sceen as well then it would be hardware issue. I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action. Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
