Hi @DOrtiz333,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

1. Restart the Computer

Many display issues can resolve automatically after restarting the computer.

2. Update Graphics Drivers

Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause display issues. Use the HP Support Assistant or Windows Update to ensure your drivers are up to date.

Update using HP Support Assistant:

  1. In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Click the Updates tab and wait for HP Support Assistant to check for updates.
  3. Select and install any available updates.
  4. Restart your computer.

Manually check for updates:

  1. Visit the HP Support Assistant website if the app is not installed.
  2. Follow the instructions to download and install the app.

3. Update BIOS

Updating the BIOS can also resolve display issues. Follow these steps to update the BIOS:

  1. Visit the HP PCs - Updating the BIOS (Windows) support document for detailed instructions.

4. Adjust Display Resolution

Incorrect resolution settings can cause display problems. Follow these steps to set the recommended resolution:

  1. Type "resolution" in the Windows search field and select "Change the resolution of the display".
  2. Select the Recommended display resolution and close the window.
  3. Restart the computer.

5. Test using an External Monitor

Determine if the issue is with the display panel by connecting your computer to an external monitor:

  1. Connect an external monitor using a DisplayPort or HDMI cable.
  2. If an image is displayed on the external monitor, update the BIOS, graphics driver, and CPU chipset.
