HP Pavilion 590-p0066

Hi everyone! I'm experiencing black screen issues and I think I've narrowed down the issue to the display adapter. Whenever my Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 is enabled, I have a black screen with no cursor. If I disable or uninstall the adapter (by booting into safe mode) my screen functions just fine on the basic display adapter. I've tried updating the driver, but clean installations produce the same result. I've also uninstalled recent Windows updates to see if they are the culprit, but no luck.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue?

Bumping this thread, as this issue still has not been resolved. Drivers are up to date. Diagnostics reveal no errors with the hardware. How do I get back to normal functionality?

I am having the same issue. I was able to access the machine remotely via our school's classroom management software, from there I was able to update and disable drivers as well as making sure the machine was fully up to date. Unfortunately non of these have resolved the issue.

I can get the screen to briefly display by disabling the intel UHD 630 driver and restarting the machine. This wil then use the windows basic display driver when first booted, however, after a few minutes Windows will pick up the intel driver again and the screen will return to black.

I am stumped!
