HP 27m Full HD Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, I got this monitor about 3 days ago for my birthday and it worked pretty good actually. But then suddenly the past hour it has been wanting to randomly turn off though my computer was still on then just turn back on a few seconds later. I really don't wanna open my monitor or send it to HP to get it repaired since my parents would get mad at me for wasting 159 dollars for a monitor that possibly has a problem on the inside

@wizdoms10  -- any new device comes with two warranties:

  1. one or two weeks from the store that sold it to you, maybe with a "no questions asked" return/exchange policy,
  2. several months, up to a year, from HP, for free.

So, you have not "wasted" any of your money. You were "unlucky" to get a defective device.
