Hello everyone, I have a new HP Laptop. Its model number is 15-ef1077nr. I have had it for about 2 months, although, yesterday, a cord got stuck and when I went to get up, it fell over and landed on a hardwood smaller desk on its upper screen. It wasn't a large impact, but the screen is broken. What I have noticed though is the screen itself has no cracks, but where it's damaged it has a rainbow glimmer on the screen. The bottom half of it is still working, so I assume it is just a display issue and not something deeper like graphics card damage. I noticed that this laptop doesn't have a VGA port, so I will need to buy a HDMI to VGA. I have a monitor so that isn't the largest of my worries right now. I am just wanting feedback on
1. the severity of the damage
2. if a spare screen is available for purchase
3. how much it would cost for a repair.
anything helps, if there are any more details that need to be provided I will be more than happy to do so.
