Hi @Andy21760,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
The error message "0xA00F4244 No cameras are attached" indicates that your system is unable to detect the built-in camera. Since you've already tried common solutions, here are some advanced troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue with your HP Pavilion All-In-One PC 27-D0000i IDS Base Model:
1. Check Device Manager for Camera:
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Look for an entry named Cameras or Imaging devices. If you see your camera listed, proceed to the next steps. If not, it may indicate a hardware issue or the camera might be disabled in the BIOS.
- If your camera is listed but has a yellow exclamation mark, right-click it and select Update driver.
2. Enable Camera in Device Manager:
- If the camera is listed but disabled, right-click on it and select Enable device.
- If it’s enabled, try Disable device and then Enable device again.
3. Update Camera Drivers:
- In Device Manager, right-click on the camera and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If no updates are found, visit the HP Support website and search for the latest camera driver for your specific model. Download and install it manually.
4. Check BIOS Settings:
- Restart your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing Esc or F10 (the key might vary).
- Look for a section related to Security or Advanced, and check if there is an option to enable or disable the camera. Ensure the camera is enabled.
- Save changes and exit the BIOS.
5. Run the Windows Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Find and run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Find the next set of steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
