Hi
I recently bought a HP 24ER second hand and everything worked as intended then all of a sudden the bottom buttons started acting up. the power button doesnt do anything, the other buttons can turn off the monitor but dont open up the monitor options anymore.
if anyone can help that would be awesome all the buttons still click in and out and nothing is stuck holding them on.
Thanks

@The_Fossette
I'm having the same issue on a second-handed monitor, could you please send me some advice to get rid of this problem?
the other screen function are pretty good, I can also access the display using HP My display;
already tried a factory reset from the software, 'cause I'm not able to access the OSD menu, but did not work.
thanks!

Hi
does all you buttons do a function or does one of them not work?
i took my screen to a repair place near my home and he found one of the components on the chip was broken. he repaired it and all the functions seemed to work fine but he also needed to repair the ribbon cable.
I had a lot of trouble finding somewhere in northern ireland to get it repaired by HP, plus i couldnt find any way to contact HP themselves about parts as i would like it fixed and not patched....
hope this helps.
if you have somewhere nearby to take the monitor get it looked at internally.
