Product: Macbook Air
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

Can I get the camera on the HP E273M to work with my Macbook Air? I have an HDMI cable connected to a Belkin dock and the dock is connected to the mac via  thunderboldt cable. I can get the monitor to work and the sound on the monitor, however,  I haven't been able to test the mic and most importantly the camera on the monitor won't connect. I have contacted HP Elite support they referred me to Apple. I called Apple support and they referred me to HP. Can anyone help?

Hello Jonny,

 

I am in the process of possibly buying the same monitor for a project for a similar application to connect a 2020 model MacBook Air. Have you tried using a USB-C connection if your MacBook Air supports this connection or thunderbolt connection? Keen to find out before I purchase and struggling to find the answer.
