Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I plugged in an apple tv into the hdmi "in" port but whether or not it works i have no idea how i would "open" or view it. Any help?

What apple tv device do you have?

 

I have iPhone 12, enabled Apple TV and can project to my TV by attaching a Micacast  (Wi-Fi) device.

However, I did not realize that Apple TV was a subscription service so deleted it.  It was advertised as "free" but only to download which is misleading.
