Can't connect two monitors with my HP USB-C Mini Dock

Hello all,

I 'm using an HP USB-C Mini Dock and Elitebook. I'm trying to connect two external monitors to the mini dock, one via VGA and the other via HDMI.

The problem is that I cannot connect it at the same time. Either the VGA works or the HDMI, but not both at the same time.

Is this a limitation of the Mini Dock or I'm doing something wrong?

Here are the products I'm using:

• HP USB-C MiniDock, product number #1PM64UT#ABA [Docking Station]
• HP EliteBook 830 G6 Notebook PC, product number 4WE08AV [Notebook]
• HP 27f 27-inch Display, product number 2XN62AA#ABA [First Monitor]
• HP EliteDisplay E243m, product number 1FH48AA [Second Monitor]

When I connect one monitor by HDMI and the other one by VGA to the docking station it only displays the monitor which I connected by HDMI. The other one does not connect. If I disconnect the HDMI cable then the monitor connected by VGA displays.

It seems that this docking station does not allow for two monitors to be connected at the same time.
