Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues connecting your Xbox to the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
What is the product number for your computer?
For the Xbox to work with the computer, your computer should have a HDMI IN port so that the computer display works as a monitor. Based on the model you have provided, I checked the specifications and it doesn’t have a HDMI IN port so you will not be able to connect the Xbox. However, if you provide me the product number for your computer I can share the specifications for your computer.
I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Thank you for the information.
I checked the specifications of your computer and there is no HDMI IN port on your computer. There is no other option to use the computer as a display/Monitor.
I hope that answers your question.
