Hi:

That PC could have come with a graphics card.

Are you sure it only has the onboard Intel graphics adapter?

I have a dc7800 and you use the Vista driver from the support page.

This is the one you need for the onboard Intel graphics...

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp42501-43000/sp42698.exe

Note:  You will have to manually install the driver if you get an 'Unsupported operating system' error after the driver unpacks.

To do that, go to the device manager.  Click to expand the display adapters device manager category.

Click on the Standard VGA adapter listed there.  Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for driver software' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp42698.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver will install.

Then restart the PC, and the graphics should be working fine.
