I want to plug in a ps4 to my computer and play but I can’t figure out how to change the hdmi on the computer.  The desktop is a hp pavilion (not sure what type) but I’ve checked every side and the back of the computer but the only button is the power so I can’t find or figure out how to change the hdmi.

If the PC is an AIO, some of them have a HDMI input for using the screen as a monitor for game console.  Not all of the AIO's allow that, so a model number is needed to determine if that is possible.  If it is not an AIO, then the separate monitor can be used with a game console only if is has HDMI input.

It is an All in One but there is an HDMI plug in the back so I assume the HDMI can be changed

That is a possibility but without the model number I cannot tell for sure.  Please get the model number from inside the BIOS, if you cannot find it anywhere else.
