Probably there is no solution to the problem as HP´s only answer is to ask those who have the problem to contact support. If there was a solution I assume they would have posted it here. If HP have a solution why don´t they post it here?

I have a solution,

disable omen gaming hub and it wont change back the settings

My monitor made the automatic changes on every start-up of my PC - even though at that time I didn´t even have Omen Gaming Hub installed on my PC - so I doubt it will work.

it actually works fine with me even after restarting or shutting down my PC.

try disabling SystemOptimizer from starting up (through Autoruns for Windows)

Did your monitor change automatically back to "gaming" mode also before you had Omen Gaming Hub installed? From the first day after I purchased my monitor it would automatically change from the manual settings i had entered in the screen menu on the monitor and to "gaming"-mode - with a noticeable change in the color settings.
HP then recommended here in the forum (one of the first comments in this thread) to install Omen Gaming Hub - which I did. However my problem is that even though when I have Omen gaming hub installed and it doesn´t change back the settings like before i had Omen Gaming hub, I cannot recreate the color-settings that I want in Omen Gaming Hub - I can only create the color settings that I want directly in the menu of the monitor (meaning clicking the buttons on the backside of the monitor).

yeah I had the same issue,

download Autoruns and disable anything related to hp (That fixed my problem)

and adjust your setting through the menu in the monitor.

im guessing the issue is with the omen program, where it changes the settings of the mode (the last settings you applied on the gaming hub)
