That's great.

Does your PC's motherboard have the hyperthreading support in the BIOS for the Pentium 4. 3.06 GHz processor?

On some d510's you could enable hyperthreading in the BIOS with the 3.06 GHz processor, and on some you can't.

It depended on the motherboard revision.  Apparently there was an old version and a new one.

Yes, I would think you should be able to find an A/V program that will still work with XP, or if you install one of the AGP graphics cards such as the GeForce 6200 or Radeon 9600, they have support for W7, and you can upgrade from XP to 7.

I bet you can still buy one of those W7 upgrade kits on eBay.

I'm not sure if my motherboard has support for hyperthreading, I'll have to check that. And that is a good idea about upgrading to W7 with one of those graphics cards, I'll keep that in mind, as well as the W7 upgrade kits, although I will do everything I can to keep running XP on this as long as possible, since I feel it fits the system very well and I love it as an OS. I will definitely keep this advice in mind though.

If the motherboard supports hyperthreading, there will be a setting to enable it in the BIOS, and I do not believe that the default setting is enabled.

Ah okay, yeah I will look at that and see if that is an option on my system.
