Running Windows 10, 64 bit with a HP 23" Monitor. Having issues with display after being on a few minutes, Screen distorts and then freezes. I don't know if this is a computer or monitor issue. I've run diagnostics and can't find an answer. I have to hard reboot every time. Does anyone know what causes this and which device is at fault?

If you are using a PC, you will need to take off your GPU and clean it and its slot, then install it again. Also check the thermal paste as it might need to be replaced. Then reinstall the GPU again, and it would work. If you are using a Laptop, you might need to check the screen connector, as it might need to be installed well.

You may as well be speaking Mandarin to me. While I am ok with opening the case to find the offender, I don't know what a GPU looks like to take it out of it's slot and clean it. If I did I would attempt it. Maybe I can search to find out what my particular one looks like.
Thanks.
