Your HP Envy 27s has following INPUT ports
- 1 HDMI 2.0
- 1 HDMI 1.4
- 1 Display Port 1.2

You can connect your Mac mini to ANY one of the above ports. From following specs
https://www.apple.com/au/mac-mini/specs/
Your Mac mini should have one HDMI 2.0 port at its back therefore the simplest connection is to use one HDMI 2.0 cable to connect both together
Note: You need HDMI 2.0 cable to get best resolution.
