Hi
I purchased this desk top pc for general use exactly 1 year ago. I decided to attach a light wich has a rubber clip grip. It has left my screen cracked in the top right hand corner.
I would like this repaired.
Please can someone advice me on the best option.
Thank you

@Tara786 -- exactly 1 year ago.
How "exact"? When you "registered" your purchase with HP, you get 12 months of HP Warranty -- they will repair/replace your computer, at their expense. Did you add extended warranty coverage, via purchasing the "HP Care Pack"?
However, I don't think that "self-inflicted" damage will qualify under the HP Warranty, if you tell HP what you did.
So, maybe the HP Warehouse -- http://PartSurfer.HP.com will have a replacement screen for purchase.
Maybe, you can find an identical screen on eBay or Amazon.
But, it will likely be your expense to purchase the screen, and your expense to hire a computer technician to disassemble/replace/assemble/test your computer. That could be $100 to $200 of their time.

HP PCs - Damage Not Covered by the HP Standard Limited Warranty | HP® Customer Support
sorry, but if the user has broken a part of the computer, due to misuse, manipulation, hp will not support the repair!
You must have a special contract, even depending on the hp care pack, this is not supported if not covered in the contract
For this type of computer, it is difficult to find the number part Hp, it does not help
